* Savannah State University/SkIO's CIRE Laboratory - The present CIRE project is a collaboration which includes diversification of existing courses at SSU by inclusion of teaching and research modules by SkIO faculty; formal detailed training in research via research assistantships at SkIO for qualified SSU student interns; reciprocal faculty exchange opportunities; and collaborative curriculum development.

* NOAA Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary (GRNMS) - Offices and Support Center - Serving as the trustee for this large, productive, marine reef off Georgia's coast, conserving, protecting, and enhancing its natural biodiversity, ecological integrity and cultural legacy.

* Georgia Institute of Technology Laboratory for Chemical Ecology - Georgia Tech is playing an ever increasing role in education and research in coastal Georgia. SkIO is an important component of Georgia Tech's activities providing cutting-edge facilities to assist local researchers on projects such as beach nourishment and sensor technology.
